Canadian Content Machine

A Message from Founder Richard Moore.

Here at Canadian Content Machine, we are committed to exposing talented Canadian musicians.  Our goal is to help build the Canadian Music industry with the exposure and development of Canadian content.

After three years of working around the music industry, a major concern befell me.  The amount of talented Canadian musicians that were not getting the exposure they deserve was my reason for starting Canadian Content Machine.  I have been living in Toronto for 20 years, and ever since I was young I had been listening to local top 40 radio stations.  It wasn’t until I attended my first live Canadian concert that I realized what terrible music I had been listening to for my entire life, and what amazing (yet obscure) Canadian music there is out in the underground.

While attending Humber College, I was able to use the school’s reputation to land interviews with some popular Canadian musicians.  I was able to build strong relationships with these musicians; after realizing how hard they work and yet they still don’t get the exposure they deserve, I resolved to make a change!

Canadian Content Machine is open to any Canadian bands or musicians who need help getting their music to the rest of the universe.  We are also interested in any type of Canadian Content, so if you are Canadian we want to hear your work.

Music is one of the most important parts of our lives, and its worth is more than any amount of money!  We need to invest in what is important so that fame and success will follow for these Canadian-bred artists.

I was wondering if you write reviews or blogs about artist’s shows? I’m going to be having one at the Free Times Cafe in Toronto on Sunday March 10th at 9:30pm. If you don’t no worries at all, I thought I would ask. Thanks so much
